Grossman Math Olympiad

Thinking boyGrossman Math Olympiad has been organized by the Department of Mathematics in the Technion since 1960. It is named after the late Prof. Yirmiyahu Grossman and is the oldest math competition in Israel. The competition is open to high school students (9-12th grades) and soldiers doing a compulsory military service. It offers to participants challenging and non-standard questions in elementary mathematics. The top three winners are awarded 2500NIS, 2000NIS and 1500NIS monetary prizes. Up to 10 winners are also awarded 2500NIS tuition waivers, provided they choose to study in the Technion.
